We had a scare tonight at the ware house, it was late and I had to come do a few things, when I got there the alarm was going off. A great PTSD task is searching and clearing rooms or buildings (not in a aggressive way at all) this is just to make sure that you can trust that no one will be there and scare you into a panic attack. Colt has never been put in this situation at the ware house before, normally only does it at my house when I get home and other places I walk into that I am suppose to be alone, and I want to make sure I am truly alone. Colt will not confront a intruder or be vicious in anyway, he will only stand in the door way of the room that has someone in it and sit down. This is the sign I know that someone is there and not to jump when and if someone walks out. This warehouse is giant, the place that is dark in the video was the room I was most worried about and is a huge part of the ware house and I couldnt reach the light without walking into the darkness, Colt will stay sitting till he is released if someone is there even if I call him he won't move until I acknowledge his alert to another person. I am so proud of him to be able to search this entire place on a whim. He even looks and searches under the work trucks. I was able to do what I need to because of him.
