ABOUT ME: Lanaya was born February 18, 2007 in Florence, South Carolina. She began to walk at 10 months and has been entertaining ever since. She is currently a 6th grader at The Ron Clark Academy where her passion for dance meets academics. Her love for dance is prominent. Lanaya was given a chance to excel in her passion for dance at the age of 7 years old when her mother relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Her raw talent was recognized and from 2014 to the present, Lanaya has an extensive resume of film, commercials, television, music videos and performances. Most recently, Lanaya can be found on Honey 4 with Teyana Taylor, Step Up, Reebok, Kids Foot Locker & Zaxbys commercials as well as a dancer on Lee Daniels' show "Star." With only a few years of training under her belt, she has worked and trained with several choreographers including Jamaica Craft, Sean Bankhead, Jacquel Knight, Debbie Allen, Kiki Ely, Sakinah Lestage, Marvelous, Desi-Ray Morris, Anthony Burrell, Anthony Marquis, JJ Crampton, Jeremy Green, Jeremy Copeland, Josh Smith, Victor Carter, Brooke Bowe and RoRo. Lanaya is energetic, determined and intelligent. She is definitely a leader... your future leader! Her personality is one you will never forget.
