Mexico City lifts air pollution emergency alert

Mexico City’s government lifted Thursday a four-day air pollution alert after tens of thousands of cars were ordered off the streets and the atmospheric conditions improved. The ozone pollution alert was declared on Monday due to a poor dispersion of pollutants and intense solar radiation around greater Mexico City.
