So I went to see Green Day for the first time since the American Idiot tour and yes, I was pretty damn gutted when I ended up in A&E only a quarter of the way into their set. I am a huge Green Day fan. Billie Joe Armstrong is one of my idols. A guy with a mohawk helped me loads when I became injured, if your out there I want to say thank you! :) I was lucky to escape with not so bad head injuries, but they were still fucking painful so believe me, be careful fellow Green Day fans! I wouldn't want any of you getting hurt! A guy punched me in the neck to get closer to the front when the pit started to get crazy. I responded by telling him to never hit a lady and punching him in the face. To have people chanting my name was pretty epic. But then only a few moments later I received a blow to the back of the head from nowhere and I became faint. I drifted in and out of consciousness. I told the guy with the mohawk to stay with me if I passed out and get me to the front. I fell on my head when I got to the front near the stage which added to the injuries. I was then put in a headcase and onto a headboard while staring above me at Billie Joe singing, haha. I was so annoyed but I admired the view while I had it! I spent the rest of the night in hospital. I wanted to share my story for a few reasons. 1) Be careful! 2) Don't fucking hit girls, guys. They will retaliate. Especially if they're a Green Day fan. 3) If you do get hurt, be brave. 4) Mosh pits are fucking insane, don't even know how I lasted that long. Peace out! x
