January 2, 2016 was the First Yatra Festival de la Carroza, Santo Domingo. A parade throughout the streets of Colonial Zone with singing, dance and more. Here, as seen from my 3rd floor vantage point, they are on Calle Padre Billini trying to make the turn onto Isabel la Católica which was impossible. They are singing Hare Krishna. Inteliperra and Buenagente, The Dominican Dogs, are heard barking in the background as they sing-along doggie style.
