This time I found a better vantage point, and the magnetic bearing of the sunrise. However it was SO cold and humid that the lens quickly got covered with dew -_- hence the un-remarkable clarity.... 4s interval, 1768 frames (sunrise 8:02am +-45 mins). Also I went for what turned out to be an overlong 1/20s shutter priority mode which caused the final part to blow out as the lens' smallest f/22 aperture was not small enough. The flickering is caused by the auto aperture adjustment, I still need to find an optimum combination and then go full manual next time. I used a 0.45x wide angle add-on filter instead of the 0.21x this time so that the early f/1.8 images were not overly blurred. One day I will get this right! The clouds were not as epic as I was hoping, ideally scattered mid-high level clouds moving at some speed towards the camera would give the desired dramatic effect....
