This is footage of me flying my new Typhoon H hexacopter for the first time in the hills of Los Angeles. First impressions: the Typhoon is an impressive machine. It compensated well for the winds that kicked up near the end of this video. The fact that you can't tell that from the video footage is pretty remarkable. Finding large open areas with few obstacles (like trees, for one thing) in the Los Angeles area to train one's self that fall within the FAA safe flying zones can be a challenge. Had to go up into the hinterlands to find this space since two of the other locations I wanted to use were being renovated. Music: "Love Stone Remix" by Interstate
