12/21/2009 What a fun day this has been!! First, taking a trail from the Kincaid chalet, underneath some VERY low-lying trees, which of course were covered in the fresh snow, to the water.. Then down the beach for a while, all the time admiring the awesome way the clouds were filtering the sun... Then climbing up a very steep and super-slick hillside, of which I know I almost fell back down countless times... Careening on the edge of a cliff on a narrow trail for quite a ways, then finally meeting back up with one of the ski trails and heading back to the chalet... But not before having some fun sliding down yet another steep hill! Ahh that was so much fun. I wanted to do that over and over, but it would have been better had we brought sleds along. All in all, an awesome shortest day of the year!
