iOS 11 Beta 6 - Released Hey guys this is Apple Fox here back again with another video. iOS 11 beta 6. This is what this video is going to be about. Honestly the more betas we receive the more I feel like Apple is working on things that shouldn't be changed in my opinion. So it's a little redundant but anyways I will go through the interesting stuff this update comes with. Let's start with the icons. Rightaway you can notice the maps icon being different than the previous one. But it's not a complete redesign. It's like something in between, you know it's not the same as before but the change won't impress a lot of people, the design won't blow their mind. I know we wanted redesign of the icons but it's pretty much the same, only the elements of the iconyuu are mixed up. The next one is the App Store, it's not changed completely again but this time it's a little different because you can't change much in this icon. I wouldn't mind if it stayed like the one from iOS 10 or even this one from beta 6 for a long time. I don't really care if it's changed or not even though the previous one with the brushes indicated that there's some creative stuff in it and this one is just a shape of the letter A. In the iMessage the new icon of the App Store has already been implemented, so we know Apple is serious about this new icon and probably they won't switch it back in the following betas. Which by the way happened number of times already but hey this is why the beta versions actually exist. The reminder icon has been swapped again. Yes this is one of the things that I just mentioned, Apple is switching things back in forth, so we're not even sure which icons the final version will contain. Also clock icon received a slight change. The numbers are a little bolder which makes it easier to see, this is a very good change in my view. I forgot to show you the update page from the settings nothing interesting in there, the size is about 200 mg but this number differs depending on the device you're about to perform the update on. If you run iOS 10 and you're installing the 11 it will be more than 2 gb for sure, so keep that in mind. The thing I like the most about iOS 11 beta 6 is the new unlocking animation. It's not really new because it's almost the same when comapared to the one from iOS 10, but in the older betas there was the one when the lockscreen just slides up now the icons appear in a cool way, I really like that. Wallet apllication doesn't feature a 3D touch activated toggle anymore. This applies to the icon on the homescreen and when you swipe up, in the control center as well. The toggle that you could get is to add a new card, not saying it wouldn't save your time but it's not something you do everyday, so most people won't even miss it. And lastly there is a new splashscreen when you open up photos on the freshly updated device. It's not that colorful this time, we started to get used to very vibrant looking splashscreens, with lots of colors in iOS 11 but who really cares about this kind of stuff. So guys that's it.
