Friends and family of the late former House Speaker and Member of Parliament, Dr. Rupert Griffith, said their final goodbyes at the Greater Malabar Christian Centre in Arima on Monday. Dr. Griffith died on Wednesday. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a month ago, and had told his family he was leaving everything in the hands of God. Paying tribute to his father, Kwame Griffith said although Dr. Griffith was a public figure, he was a very private man. His sister, Pastor Joyce Griffith-Bostic, said the word of God assures the family that death is not the end.
