My 5150 running the original Commander Keen. It's amazing that it runs as well as it does on this 4.77MHz 8088 system with 640K. Specs: Rev. 3 mainboard (256K onboard RAM) Sweet Electronics 640K VIP multi-IO w/real time clock, 2 serial ports (only 1 working at the moment), parallel port, joystick port and FDD controller Western Digital WDXT-GEN2 running in translation mode 80MB Seagate ST4096 ($900 in 1986!) Western Digital Super VGA board PC-XT 286 power supply IBM PC DOS 2000 This computer was put together using parts from various other computers and a local electronics shop. It started life as a MicroTICCIT terminal which I purchased for $5 from an old friend's electronic shop. It's basically a 5150 with an OS ROM and special video/network cards, and no floppy/HDDs. The FDD, multi-IO, hard disk controller and video board were from parts computers purchased at the same shop. The hard disk and power supply were purchased separately. The Sweet Electronics 640K memory board was the only part which didn't come from the local electronics shop- it was $25 on Ebay, which is the most I spent for any part of the system.
