The results of the European elections are in and the make-up of the European Parliament is overwhelmingly different from the last, with the left-right balance thrown into flux by further gains on the far-right. The EPP-ED renewed its roll as the largest grouping and emphasised the need to pull together to face down the threat posed by Eurosceptic groups.
