My name is Barbara Esses and I do events for a living. I'm Ruthie Hecht; I'm an event planner and I work with and for my mother. We're going to teach you the do's and don'ts for the perfect wedding.

Barbara: If you are fortunate enough to have a child in the family, or good friends with little children, girls and boys, there's nothing sweeter and more adorable and reaffirming of life than to have little children walk down the aisle for you. 

Little girls can wear anything. There's no color that they can't wear. There's probably no dresses that they can't wear. The nice thing though is to find something very frilly, very girly, and very pretty, because everybody is in awe when little children walk down the aisle. 

Flower girls can also be augmented with flowers, ornamenting the dress, ornamenting their hair, baskets to carry, or even little flower polka dots they can wear the [indiscernible] as they walk down the aisle. There won't be anybody in your wedding who won't be smiling when the flower girls walk down the aisle.
