Referendum Question: People of Bougainville to vote for their Political Future

The people of Bougainville will now have the opportunity to vote for their political future, with the National Government and Autonomous Bougainville Governments agreeing to the Referendum Question. The options given in the Referendum question are for either Greater Autonomy, or Independence. This referendum process will see the people vote, with the results deliberated on by both governments, and then Parliament having the final say on the outcome.
