After the BMW engine blew at Santa Pod, I knew we had a job on our hands to get the car back into action. Metal shrapnel in the exhaust is never a good thing. This engine has been flawless and clocked over 100k miles. I cursed it by saying it has always been a perfect runner. Time to get down and dirty and strip the engine in the hot garage and find out what happened. The BMW will also be going in for some more work, to get a new roll cage.
