Ski racing has taken place in Oberhof in the German state of Thuringia for over a century. This year, some 600 athletes, coaches and officials are in the ski resort for this major skiing competition. It's no wonder that the organizers are under pressure to make sure the snow is just right. If Mother Nature doesn't cooperate, it's time for human intervention, as DW-TV reporter Peter Wozny found out.
