In the hardest conference in the country, Virginia looked a step above the rest. The way its defense scrambles and attacks just looked special at the ACC Tournament. Its players still feel like they have progress to make after a 31-2 start to the season. Their defense doesn't waver game-to-game and it gets in opponent's heads, with the possession game so emphasized. They may not have excited in Brooklyn, but they proved themselves.
