We go over the blue yeti microphone and do a mic test, review and comparison to my older lavaliere mic! This is the first time using the blue yeti mic in my Youtube video.

Blue Yeti Sound Patterns:

鉁匔ARDIOID MODE
Perfect for podcasts, game streaming, vocal performances, voice-overs and instruments. Cardioid mode records sound sources that are directly in front of the microphone, delivering rich, full-bodied sound.

鉁匰TEREO MODE
Uses both the left and right channels to capture a wide, realistic sound image鈥攊deal for recording acoustic guitar or choir.

鉁匫MNIDIRECTIONAL MODE
Picks up sound equally from all around the mic. It鈥檚 best used in situations when you want to capture the ambience of "being there"鈥攍ike recording a band's live performance, a multi-person podcast or a conference call.

鉁匓IDIRECTIONAL
Records from both the front and rear of the microphone鈥攇ood for recording a duet or a two-person interview.
