Hi, Please LIKE this video and SUBSCRIBE for lots more videos - Four days a week!
This is a semi day in the life. We just had the longest day ever. Everything is so much harder to do in Israel. Seriously. We had to take a 2 day trip to buy a car. First a 5 hour bus ride to Gedera. If that was not stressful enough, we forgot the baby bottle in the fridge at home. Luckily Hadar's sister had a bottle and some formula waiting for us at her house when we finally got there.

We stayed the night with Hadar's pregnant sister, Maayan and her husband Pyotr (Peter) from Poland, and their pet bird, an African Grey parrot. Ok awesome! Then I stayed the day waiting for Hadar at his other sisters house - Anat and her husband Itai (ee-tie). They were gone most of the day so it was just me and the baby hanging out.

Finally, Hadar and Itai come back with our car around 2:30pm. We leave their house and go to Hadar's mom and step-dads house (no footage) and we stay for dinner. They live in Arad, which is about 3 hours north of our home. We finally make it home after 8:30 pm. So tired, so beat, so much new car!

The next day we had already filled it with some survival items, fishing poles, beach towels, and a stroller. First off, we believe this is an excellent family car. We are really proud of it and are enjoying it immensely!

Less than 2 weeks later, the day before Independence Day (yes, I spelled it wrong in the video) a group of kids (we assume) threw a lot of bricks and rocks onto the back window of our car, busting it out. I am so hurt in my heart over it, not just because it costs money and our stuff got destroyed, but because those kids felt it was "ok" to do something like that to a stranger. It is very sad when there isn't ONE child in the bunch that sticks up for what is right, and is able to stop his or her friends from doing something they KNOW is wrong. Hopefully they will feel bad for what they did, and make up for it in the future. All you can do is pray for them.

Wednesday, April 17th, 2013: There were 2 explosions in Eilat today - rockets or bombs - and the air raid siren went off. I count my many blessings each and every day. We are so fortunate to have the material goods we have, being on a very limited budget. We are a military family so the money is always short, but He always provides. I am so thankful for my life and everyone in it! A shattered window is not going to tear me down!
