Syrian chemical weapons lab where REBELS made ‘poison substances’ found by Russia

CHEMICAL LAB: Russian TV filmed a warehouse where toxic substances where allegedly made

AN UNDERGROUND chemical weapons facility used by rebels to concoct “poisonous substances” has been discovered in the Syrian town of Douma, Russia has claimed.

Footage broadcast on Russian TV shows soldiers and journalists entering an underground bunker in Douma, Eastern Ghouta, where chemical weapons were allegedly made.

A deadly chemical attack that has been blamed on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad took place in the town, near Damascus, on April 7.

In the video, instruments, such as large liquid storage tanks, canisters and beakers, that were apparently used in the production of chemical weapons are seen.

High toxic substances needed to make lethal mustard gas were found in the subterranean warehouse, Alexander Rodionov, a chemical weapons specialist, told Zvezda TV.
