Experiment #17: Hot Chocolate, Candy Canes, and Gingerbread Man

(Rated PG) For the Christmas special in season 1 of Microwave Me, you also get to discover a pretty cool recipe for hot chocolate. This also contains what may be the longest microwaving sequence of season 1 (yes, even longer than the hot pockets episode) and it's also the longest episode of season 1 by far at nearly 12 minutes in length. Candy canes used as decoration add to the flavour, the gingerbread man adds a bit of flavour himself, but may need to be scooped away since the texture becomes kind of weird, and the hot chocolate should be made with warm water so that it doesn't overheat. The recipe I guarantee will be a lot less aesthetically pleasing to the eye than to the palate. It tastes pretty much like peppermint flavoured hot chocolate. This one really isn't that exciting, but I thought it was pretty fun to watch the gingerbread man drown, and this episode's appeal is more the comedy since nothing gets destroyed. Although it is fun to watch the gingerbread man slowly drown. "Microwave Me" is as always filmed with a state of the fart digital camcorder and stars host and producer Matthew Villani and an aged to perfection 1978 GE Dual Wave Microwave named Jennie.
