Dieselducy and I had a small miscommunication about this one. I thought he told me it was a traction elevator, but it's actually hydraulic. I guess this really shows the quality of these older Otis elevators since I never even noticed it was hydraulic. It was SO SMOOTH and quiet!! I absolutely love the fixtures too. Interesting fact: This is the only Saks Fifth Avenue in Missouri.
