Travis - DropAreviews.com "Ok I've been listening to BURN The Water online since they started posting material online and they're created an impressive EP merging multiple genres into one, creating a fresh sound that sticks out. I could only imagine what this will sound like after it gets recorded professionally. I must say there is no shortage of underground modern/metal bands around there however there is a shortage of good ones. The use of piano and various other synthetic effects give each track an edge. I really enjoyed the breakdown in "The Escape" with beautiful piano arpeggios with atmospheric vocals and effects. These guys know when to slow down and not get carried away with just plain riffs. For me, my favourite track has to be "The World (Outside)" which sounds like Trivium have hired a keyboardist! The track is full of energy and driving vocals with solid drums laying down a perfect groove. I would love to hear a solo in one of their tracks; those breakdowns would provide a perfect base for a melodic solo. After hearing a little sample of more material yet to come from this band, I have high hopes for what they will achieve. It's unfortunate we live in a day where talented bands such as this tend to get overlooked and I wish them all the luck in getting this EP out there. As a musician, I really respect these guys for creating a complex but fresh EP and I would give it a solid 9/10."
