Governor Mark Dayton signs the FY2012-2013 omnibus agriculture finance bill in a State Capitol ceremony Friday, March 15th. The bill appropriates $76.8 million over the next two years for the Dept. of Agriculture, Board of Animal Health and Agricultural Utilization Research. The funding represents about a 11.4 percent reduction from current funding levels. It is the first major budget bill to be signed this legislative session.
