One odd amp, four different guitar/pickup sets. An experiment.

According to the Fractal Wiki: The FOX ODS is "Fuchs Overdrive Supreme, based on an amp that's based on an amp. Overdrive channel, 50 watts, 6L6 tubes. "ODS" model: Deep switch off." Two cabinet models were used: A Bludotone 1x12 and Dumble 4x12 with EV's. It's pretty smooth sailing. A Dumble-ish amp, I guess. I had four very different guitars in front of me: DRW '63 Strat tribute with Blu-rock pickups; Smitty S-Style with Lollar Goldfoils; Charvel MIM Hardtail with Brierley Custom Burgs VM Pickups and the mighty Oakland Axe Factory JazzMonster7 with Lace Alumitones. I couldn't tell you exactly which Alumitones, though, perhaps they can chip in. I recorded direct to Logic via the Axe-FX XL+ and mastered with Waves L3-16 Limiter. That's it. I don't know how close the FOX ODS model sounds to the real thing because I haven't tried one.
