My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at 2:07 this morning and I recorded her being weighed several hours later. We had plenty of time to get a pool going but no one won, haha. I like that she got to stay on Mommie's tummy, uninterrupted, skin to skin, just bonding for most of the night before the hospital staff did any of this stuff. They also waited quite awhile to take her to do the APGAR check. Besides Dad, no one else even get to hold her until about 6 to 8 hours later. Obviously I was dying to to get my hands on her but this way really is best. I think it is why she is so calm with others in all my hospital videos.
