Q: What is the application process for YNP Skilled Worker and Critical Impact Worker programs?

A: Applying for the Yukon Nominee Program under the Skilled Worker program or the Critical Impact Worker program is a process that requires both the employer's and the candidate's involvement.
Some of the forms need to be filled out by both the employer and the candidate, and both need to attribute the required documents in order to complete the application package.
When the application package is complete, it has to be submitted to the Advanced Education Branch.
The application is then assessed and forwarded, with a recommendation for approval or refusal, to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Advanced Education Branch, who has the final word on whether or not the application will be approved.
If the application is approved, the nominee can also obtain a letter of recommendation for a temporary work permit, if needed.
