One Tuesday a few months ago I had a really bad day at school and I wanted to go for a bike ride somewhere to just escape and see a different place. I rode to Spring Valley, thinking I would just scope out what routes were done on Tuesday and what carts there were and this, that, and the other thing. I happened upon a white older Bridgeport front loader in a gated community collecting recycle carts with the tipper plates on the front of the arms, and was surprised to see the name "Dependable Disposal" written on the carts and the truck. I got three clips of the truck before I was approached by the property manager who wanted to know what I was doing. I explained the whole garbage trucks thing to him and he said I needed to ask the owner of Dependable Disposal if I wanted to put it on YouTube. I asked him if he had Dependable Disposal's phone number. He said they didn't, but the yard for Burns and Sons Trucking, Dependable's parent company, was two blocks away. Slightly annoyed, I asked him if he had the phone number for Dependable Disposal. He said he didn't but that the yard for Burns and Sons trucks was right around the corner. I was amazed to hear this, and rode down to the yard and before I could even get in I happened upon an Autocar Heil front loader collecting commercial trash. I followed them around for a bit, then I went inside the office to have a meeting with the owner of the company. I sat down and explained to him the whole garbage truck hobby and he said I'm allowed to film his trucks whenever I want, which was very nice of him. I also showed him Scott's video of their Dempster RFL.
