Hope you enjoy these clips of Dr. Rohan Krishnamurthy and one of his advanced students (who is actually also a music teacher himself) Adam Maalouf, rehearsing for their live master class.

The class will feature Dr. Krishnamurthy teaching Indian drumming technique on the two-sided hand drum, the mridangam, and Mr. Maalouf in turn demonstrating those same concepts on a drum kit. Adam became Rohan's student at the Eastman School of Music, and though the two are now on opposite coasts - Rohan in San Francisco and Adam in Brooklyn - they are able to interact live by utilizing the Lessonface platform for live video. Enrolled students in the class can ask questions and interact in real time.
