Many of the basic kit items we carry in the woods while not expressly intended for first aid can fill the need in a pinch. While I am always analyzing my kit and finding new purposes for each item I carry, I do usually carry a very minimal first aid kit that can address very basic and fairly common ailments in the woods. There are so many more items that could be added to this kit but the intent is to keep it very minimal and basic. Feel free to make suggestions if you have other ideas you would like to share.
