Dr. Caryn Poll, Shedd’s senior staff veterinarian, relates how an interdepartmental team helped a lizard in Amazon Rising that lost part of a hind limb to cancer. Using medical and husbandry expertise, and a 3-D printer, the team created a one-of-a-kind prosthetic foot for the climbing, swimming reptile.
