(5 Dec 2018) Thousands of people may descend on Navasota, Texas to watch the train carrying the body of President George H.W. Bush pass through town. Navasota is on the Union Pacific rail line leading up to College Station, Texas the site of the Bush's presidential library on the campus of Texas A&M University. The president's casket and family will travel on a train pulled by a customized locomotive called the "4141," painted with the colors that adorn Air Force One. The town's mayor says local schools will let out early and everyone will pause and witness the procession as it crosses through Navasota. He says while the dignitaries of the world bid farewell to Bush in Washington, this is a way "for regular people to say goodbye." The Bush 4141 is expected to roll through town at approximately 2 p.m. Central. The train will have a Plexiglass compartment, so that the public can see Bush's casket as it hauled on the route.
