Rinpoche spoke about how important it is to really know if you are meditating on emptiness correctly, or just meditating on nihilism. Rinpoche then taught about on verses from Lama Tsong Khapa - if we don’t purify obscurations, then we become quickly under the control of karma. So it is so important today to be careful of negative karma we create and that is dependent on our mind, whether an action is positive or negative. If you have a good heart then everywhere you go you bring happiness to everyone you meet. The practice of the good heart is the most important practice. Rinpoche then said that the FPMT has unbelievable opportunities for Dharma education, but we still need merit to be able to receive and understand and practice the teachings. The conclusion is the good heart, then your life is so happy.
