Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Mike Firn reports on the outlook for Japan Airlines Corp.'s possible tie-up with American Airlines or Delta Air Lines Inc.
Delta and American, the worlds two biggest carriers, have both offered packages to JAL as they compete for access to the airlines networks in China and Japan. JAL, currently in an alliance with American, has started on a 900 billion yen ($10 billion) state-backed turnaround after seeking court protection last month following three losses in four years. Bloomberg's Bernard Lo also speaks. (Source: Bloomberg)
