10 Malnourished Dogs Rescued From Breeder

Kansas authorities confiscated 10 malnourished dogs from a breeder this week. Animal Haven in Merriam has been caring for the rescued dogs. Three of the dogs have an eye disease that leaves them in pain. "There's never been a case where the animal deserved to be put in that situation," Animal Haven's Brendan Wiley said. "We're having to consider actually removing the eyes to alleviate some of the pain." Several other dogs have serious dental problems.
