The Dehavilland Beaver is one of the worlds iconic short take off and landing bush planes. Fitted with large wheels, skis or floats this powerful and tough civilian transport aircraft has operated in the most remote and hostile places on earth.  Designed in Canada it has been one of that country's most succcessful exports with over 1600 built between 1947 and 1967 with many still flying today.
