Thad Beaty talks about kindness at Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding in Rockford on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018. Beaty, who is a guitarist for Sugarland, is also Johnny Agar's triathlon coach. Members of Sugarland took time to entertain Agar and his supporters before their scheduled sold-out performance at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Friday night. Johnny Agar has become a national crusader as an athlete in his battle with cerebral palsy.
