So I bought this device during the weekend that allows me to record any kind of video output source without the need of having it transferred through to a computer. It's digitally created and sent automatically to any USB device it is currently connected to. This is perfect for people who aren't really technical geniuses in getting supreme high quality stuff, but really want to keep some of their VHS recordings, TV channels, and video game shots recorded back in a simple matter. Unfortunately, it saves in an mp4 format, which quickly denies any chance I have at editing these videos properly for future uses, but I'm the process of figuring this one out.

In the meantime, I recorded a quick Gears of War session just to see how it holds up. The video isn't the greatest you'll see on youtube, but the framerate actually surprised me. Overall, I give it a 7/10. This will be perfect for games like BlazBlue, where you have replays at your convenience so I can prepare to record it anyway I want to. I'll figure out a way to edit mp4 videos soon, because I'm pretty sure this video will end up in fullscreen when it should be widescreen here. If you guys know of anything that will help me with this kind of quality, let me know.
