We all fight with ourselves. It can be a struggle to force ourselves to pay attention during the more mundane moments of our daily lives. We can grapple with our relationship to gender and sexuality. We often beat ourselves up over perceived failings. Aspects of our personality vie for dominance in a never ending battle royale between who we want to be, and who we have been.

I against I will externalize my internal struggle by incorporating aesthetics and traditions related to a childhood interest: professional (and amateur) wrestling. In the lead up to the main event, “promos” will be shown depicting the rising tensions between myself and the personification of my inner demons. Scheduled for 1 fall, this no holds barred bout is sure to be a sloberknocker.
