Now filming on the other side of the hump, you'll see the locomotive shop complex, the eastern side of the hump & engine ready tracks. This yard is not actually the original yard. It was built in the late 60s early 70s as part of a modernization of the yard. The original yard which is a couple of miles west of this location is still in use & the roundhouse & turntable still stand although its no longer used by Norfolk Southern. In addition to the mixed bag of NS black & Conrail EMDs & GEs include a couple of CN SD60Fs (I think), a UP SD70ACe coupled to a ex Cotton Belt B40-8, a BNSF GEVO in H2 paint & at the far ready tracks include a MA&M F40PH & i believe an ex Southern Pacific SD40T-2 still in SP paint.
