This video shows our latest project and efforts to create a stand alone SDR platform based on GNU Radio using our powerful new MK902II LE mini ARM Linux PC and RTL SDR dongle.

No PC is needed, just plug in an HDMI monitor (or TV!), keyboard+mouse, RTL SDR dongle and Antenna and you have a completely open source linux based software defined radio platform for advanced functions or just casual listening.

Our MK902II LE PC runs Ubuntu 14.04 for ARM from its internal eMMC flash storage, it has a quad-core ARM cortex A17 Processor (light years ahead of the Raspberry Pi's ARM11 chip) and 2GB RAM, HDMI, Ethernet, Wifi, 4 x USB ports and a micro SD card slot.

Here we show the power of this platform running GNU RADIO and GQRX with real time DSP and audio output over HDMI with very little latency.

If the interest is there we will offer our MK902II LE preinstalled with the SDR software and possibly an RTL-SDR dongle too, stay tuned!
