The PNG Health Support Workers Association is planning a three week nationwide strike. The Workers wants the Department of Personal Management to recognise them as a registered Association. General Secretary, Jack Suao, said their plans are to have the non-clinical workers at the Administration level walk off from work, shut down all medical stores, and non-payment of health workers. The Executives will conduct a secret ballot to determine the Industrial action. Their focus is to have their log of claims addressed properly of which housing allowance is a major concern. - visit us at http://www.emtv.com.pg/ for the latest news...
