what Hurricane Matthew did to my balcony workshop

My balcony is completely blocked from winds in all directions except the east. I felt pretty safe from Mathew as the winds were to come from the North, NE, and NW and I was at the far edge of the hurricane watch cone of concern. However, I was fully prepared except for removing everything from my balcony wokshop. I watched the computer and tracked Mathew on radar every hour and saw it go more and more north as it churned off of Dade and Broward county. In hindsight, it is possible to get a tornado associated with hurricanes and anything left on the balcony could have been damaging. I have bought some more storage containers and will be using them to quickly box and remove stuff from my workshop in future storms. Since I am a native Floridian I respect hurricanes and am well prepared so had no need to get all crazy and join the mad throngs out to buy water and bread and supplies. However, I had been letting my gas tank go empty as I was wanting to add a bottle of Techron to it to treat my fuel system which requires me to add it to an empty tank so by the time I decided to go and get gas there was none available or the lines were too long. The hurricane was a good test to dig up some of my hurricane items to make sure they worked. One of the fans that operate on a 12 volt marine battery was broken and some of my small batteries had not been stored properly and were corroding. This video was not made to make light of the destruction of Matthew or the harm it caused others, it was to poke fun at my messy balcony and to give a middle finger to Hurricane Matthew. if you want to see the video I took when Hurricane Andrew hit Miami, I posted a video showing Hurricane Andrew coming ashore where I lived on Biscayne bay during that time.
