McCabe, Comey ‘very inconsistent’ under oath: Dershowitz

Alan Dershowitz, a famed Harvard law professor, said former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and former FBI Director James Comey made contradictory statements during Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of the Hillary Clinton email scandal. “It’s one of these cases where one of them is not telling the truth obviously,” Dershowitz said to FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo on “Mornings with Maria.” “McCabe and Comey seem to have stated under oath very inconsistent points.” This comes as Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s late Friday over his ties to the Hillary Clinton email investigation. His reaction triggered perjury allegations against former FBI director James Comey. “[Comey] didn’t have the courage to stand up in front of the television cameras and express his views that a special counsel should be appointed, so he laundered the information through a law professor,” Dershowitz said of Comey’s testimony. “I do think that that should be the subject of an investigation to determine who is telling the truth,” Dershowitz added. ✝Donations are welcome & definitely appreciated!
