Filmmaker Christopher Miles and Actor Angel Valerio share a passion for action films. They tell us the story of how their short film 'Redemption' was made. They were given access a Red camera for a weekend. Without a script, they committed to making a film with a fight sequence. They couldn't find another actor to fight Angel so that's how Christopher ended up in the film himself. They choreographed the entire fight sequence during the filming of the movie while using real kicks and punches (even a real body slam). From there they compare Hong Kong action films against American Action films. How American action films tend to use camera angles and fast editing to mask the lack of real fighting.
