Comcast preparing all-cash offer to upset Disney-Fox deal

The TV and broadband provider, which also owns NBC Universal, released a statement confirming it's considering an offer 'at a premium to the value of the current all-share offer from Disney.' Comcast did not mention a figure but earlier reports have put it at $60 billion. Disney, which owns ABC and NBC, announced last year they were planning to purchase Fox but Comcast threw a wrench in those plans recently.
