On July 2, 2014, Montreal journalist Ange-Aimée Woods passed away suddenly of heart failure at the age of 41. She left behind numerous family, friends, and colleagues, many of whom gathered in Montreal on July 18, 2014, to celebrate her life and pay tribute to her memory. This is a video of her memorial service, shot by videographer Jay Lemieux. Ange-Aimée touched many people throughout her short life, and a memorial fund has been established in her name to help journalism students in financial need at Montreal's Concordia University.
