As with all things, in both soapland and real life, endings are inevitable.  But not all are fair.  Some deserve to be brought into the light of day and exposed for the injustices they are.  Such is the case with Luke and Reid.  The writers NEVER got it, the director didn't complain and the producers bowed to big-money interests.

And so, we are left with this ending.  A piss-poor excuse to resolving a "so-called" innovative DAY-TIME soap TV experiment that never really explored Gay life, Gay couples or simply people in love.
