He will be taking about “Unconventional Women Leaders.” How women in rural India still have been kept alluded from the rights they deserve ,and as a result a new wave of women entrepreneurs are changing the normal. They are challenging social and cultural norms as they spread awareness and deliver social impact products to their villages – all the while generating income for their families. They are change agents in truest sense and are now being respected as leaders in their communities.  Gaurav Mehta is the Founder and CEO of Dharma Life, a social enterprise with the mission to improve the lives of the poorest segments of society. He also runs a small family office private equity portfolio focussing on seed-funding early stage, highly innovative enterprises. Prior to founding Dharma Life, Gaurav spent three years in the private equity space at General Atlantic, a large growth capital investment firm (until 2008).
