Inventor, author and futurist Ray Kurzweil has some controversial predictions about the future. Among them: by 2029, he says, computers will be so advanced that their thinking will be indistinguishable from that of humans. This moment, which Kurzweil calls "the Singularity", will change every aspect of our lives, and likely lead to humans and machines fusing together. Kurzweil's ideas are explored in the new documentary "Transcendent Man." Producer and director Barry Ptolemy sat down with VOA to explain just what Kurzwei's predictions mean for humanity.
